Tai Chi / Qigong with Sarah
Tai Chi (yang style, long form) & Qigong for healthy alignment and energy flow.
Tuesday 10am beginner level
Wednesday & Friday 10am advanced level

This class incorporates gentle, slow-moving Tai Chi exercises that focus on improving your balance, coordination, strength, and flexibility, and also on your overall sense of well-being, and the quality of your sleep.
Benefits of learning Tai Chi:
*get rid of unwanted tension in the body while stationary and in motion
*deepen the breath to calm the nervous system, and thereby reduce anxiety and worry
*improve your posture & lengthen your spine
*achieve harmony of body and mind
Emphasis is on each participant's comfortable limit and proper body alignment. This 60-minute class is open to any age, no prior experience necessary, although experienced practitioners are welcome. You should be able to stand/move for 20-25 minutes at a time. There will be a short break at the half-way point of each class. It is advisable to check with your doctor before starting physical exercise. If you have any questions, contact Charlene. Wear shoes, loose comfortable clothing, and bring a water bottle. Participants must be vaccinated for COVID-19 and wear a mask. For your safety the space is well ventilated.

Instructor Charlene Pilon has been practicing Tai Chi and Qigong for the past 25 years; and teaching for
the past 10+ years in central Massachusetts. She began and continues her practice with David Masera, a
student of Grandmaster Zhang Lu Ping and with Master Yang Yang. Additionally, she has attended numerous classes and other workshops with other teachers including: Ken Cohen, Marie Favorito of the Boston Healing Tao, and Master Wei Lun Huang
